Artist Kathryn Rodenbach - Kathryn works primarily in acrylic, creating paintings inspired from nature. In both her realistic and abstract work, organic shapes and forms are apparent. She is a graduate of the Herron School of Art and continues her education in painting by attending classes and workshops throughout the United States. Her paintings are vibrant in color and an inspiration to observe. This show is one you do not want to miss.
David Shumaker - has his own studio under the name of C. David Shumaker of Ceramic Design Studio. Mr. Shumaker states that the greatest aspects of working with clay are the versatility of techniques and styles that are available to him. He likes to alternate the methods of throwing on the potter’s wheel, hand building and casting various forms then he decides if he wishes to turn these individual parts into functional ware or sculptural objects. In this show you will see his new technique of hand dyed porcelain inlayed vessels along with many other functional and sculptural designs.
